This manual is primarily for the operator and the maintenance personnel and contains information which is vital to the correct operation and proper maintenance of the BOBCAT BACKHOE LOADER. It includes:
Accident Prevention, Guidelines, and Operating Instructions Maintenance Instructions.
This Operation & Maintenance Manual should be given to the OPERATOR and any other person who might work on the machine. It is very important that they read the manual carefully before operating or working on the BOBCAT BACKHOE LOADER and at regular intervals
  • Operation, including installing and removing attachments, troubleshooting during operation, cleaning, care, disposing of operating and auxiliary fluids.
  • Maintenance work (maintenance, inspection, repair).
  • Transportation.

The signal word alerts you to the existence and relative seriousness of a hazard, and it is essential that you understand these signal words fully.
  • DANGER: The signal word DANGER on the machine and in the manuals indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
  • WARNING: The signal word WARNING on the machine and in the manuals indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
  • In addition to these instructions, you must follow the safety regulations applicable to your work environment and job site, as well as any federal, state, and local safety requirements.
  • Keep this Operation & Maintenance Manual in good condition and store it in the storage compartment located on the back of the operator’s seat.
