BOBCAT Sweeper 84 Operation & Maintenance Manual SN A00A00101 PDF DOWNLOAD

 FOREWORD

This Operation & Maintenance Manual was written to give the owner / operator instructions on the safe operation and maintenance of the Bobcat stump grinder. READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS OPERATION & MAINTENANCE MANUAL BEFORE OPERATING YOUR BOBCAT STUMP GRINDER. If you have any questions, see your Bobcat dealer. This manual may illustrate options and accessories not installed on your Bobcat stump grinder.

FIRE PREVENTION
Welding and Grinding:

  • Prior to welding, ensure that the machine and attachment are thoroughly cleaned. Disconnect the battery and wiring from the Bobcat controllers.
  • Cover rubber hoses, the battery, and any other flammable parts to prevent them from catching fire.
  • Keep a fire extinguisher close to the machine whenever welding is being performed.
  • When grinding or welding painted parts, make sure there is proper ventilation. It is advisable to wear a dust mask during the process, as toxic dust or gas can be generated.

Repairing Nonmetallic Parts:

  • Dust generated from repairing nonmetallic components like hoods, fenders, or covers can be flammable or explosive.
  • Conduct repairs on such parts in a well-ventilated area that is away from open flames or sparks.

Fire Extinguishers:

  • Familiarize yourself with the locations of fire extinguishers and first aid kits.
  • Learn how to use them effectively.
  • Regularly inspect and service fire extinguishers as recommended.
  • Follow the instructions provided on the extinguisher’s plate.

It is important to prioritize fire safety measures to prevent any potential accidents or hazards.
