INTRODUCTION:

• These Crawlers are ruggedly built for continuous day-in and day-out operation with minimum maintenance. They come equipped with a Case full Diesel, 6 cylinder engine that has a displacement of 401 cubic inches. Other outstanding features include: TORQUE CONVERTER: Matched to the engine, the torque converter regulates engine torque to meet varying load requirements. A flex plate coupling connects the engine to the converter impeller.
• The torque converter absorbs sudden shock loads, thus protecting the engine and drive train. TRANSMISSION: A hydraulic power shift transmission with Hi-Lo range selector and full power shuttle, provides the operator with four speeds in forward and reverse.
• The constant-mesh gear-train with hydraulically actuated disc clutches gives the operator a choice of power-turns, gradual turns, standard brake-turns (pivot), and counter-rotation turns, SUSPENSION: A torsion bar suspension system provides greater traction by allowing a higher degree of track oscillation.
• Loader buckets can be kept level on uneven ground, Shock loads are absorbed by the suspension system, thus providing a longer life for your Crawler. CHASSIS CONSTRUCTION: The chassis consists of an independent load-carrying main frame with solid steel side members, torquetube, tie-rod and a solid steel pivot axle. It provides a shockabsorbing foundation for engine frame, transmission, and mounted equipment.
• The front bumper is an integral part of channel-steel engine frame, TR:\CK: The heavy duty track is adjusted hydraulically using a grease gun. For perfect alignment, the track assembly is made of heavy-gauge steel channel frames tied together at the rear by a pivot axle and at the front by a lateral stabilizer.
• A “huntingtooth” sprocket assures even wear and longer bushing life. All links, pins, bushings and bolts are deep hardened for high wearresistance. Hardened steel rollers have adjustable tapered roller bearings that are permanently lubricated.
• AIR CLEANER: A new, light weight, high efficiency air cleaner pl’ovides longer engine life under operating conditions where dust is the principal cause of engine wear. SEAT: The seat, back and arm rests are made of foam rubber covered with a durable synthetic leather. The seat is easily adjm;kd forward or backward.
