USE OF THE CATALOG
To locate the parts correctly, proceed as follows:
a) Consult the version list on page 30 to find the code of the version required; see following para 1 (]) .
b) Consult the illustrations, the associated spare parts lists as directed below in 1 and 2.
c) To identify the component of the possible special equipment of the machine, consult the optional equipment list on page 31 to find
the code number and subgroup.
1. lllustrations (see example on page 7).
lllustrations show the parts of each subgroup. The parts illustrated are identified by a reference number (ITEM). This number may be
replaced by other indications, for example:
3.435: Part shown only in subgroup 3.435
Moreover, each illustration shows:
G)- Subgroup number or optional equipment number.
®- lllustration number.
@- Updating indication, for example:
Suffix 01 to print no. 604.01 .218, indicates that subgroup modification is shown in 1 st updating of the catalog dated Vll-1997.
©- Subgroup title.
®- Model and version code (with reference to previous point a). ln lack of said codes, the illustration applies to all model versions
covered by the catalog.
®- Number of assembly.
(z)- lndication of part kit, with associated part numbers and part kit symbol. (See page 32 for kit index and composition).
®- Effectiveness. FROM S/N – DAL TEL. 520200: the parts illustrated are installed on machines with serial nos. from 520200; UP TO
S/N – FINO AL TEL. 520199: the parts are installed on machines with serial nos. up to 520199.
2. Spare parts lists (see example on page 7).
They list the spare parts of each subgroup contained in the corresponding illustrations. The following is shown for each part:
® ITEM: number associating the part shown with the respective “part number”.
@ PART NUMBER: spare part arder number.
@ Q.TY: total quantity of the part.
@ TRANS. CODE: for retrieval of the French, German, Spanish translations of the parts names (consult the glossary in last section
of Catalog, page 37).
@ DESCRIPTION/DENOMINAZIONE: description of the part in English and ltalian.
ln case of modification, the description is completed with the following kinds of indication and directions for replacement if any.

C 951 = means that the partis valid up to modification 951.
@) 79021573
D 951 = means that the part is valid alter modification 951.
