DESCRIPTION
TlllS pdrts catalog No. S 406176 M3 issused June 1979 is for all DROTT 40 LOGGER CRAWLER models with serial
number 450 and after.
TABLE OF CONTENTS AND NUMERICAL INDEX :
The catalog is arranged for easy identification of genuine DROTT Service Parts. An alphabetical table of contents is provided
at the front of this catalog to locate the major groups or assemblies. A numerical index at the rear of the catalog gives the part
number and the pages on which they are described.
ILLUSTRATIONS
All parts are illustrated in “Exploded Views” which show the individual parts in their normal relationship to each other.
Reference numbers are used in the illustrations. These numbers correspond to those in the “Reference Number” column and
are followed by the part number, description, and quantity required.
Illustrations and/or parts listing may be shown with notes or designations which refer to specified models, or units with
specified serial numbers. Where an illustration and/or parts listing is shown without notes or designations, this indicates the
parts listed cover all serial numbered units and all model units.
‘An asterisk in front of the reference number indicates an added listing.

PART NUMBER IDENTIFICATION AIDS
To further assist in part number identification all hydraulic tubelines and hoses are tagged with a DROTT part number.
Pumps and motors ca1-ry an identification plate which usually provide~ the DROTT number as well as the pump or motor
model number.
TERMS “RIGHT HAND” AND “LEFT HAND”
“Right” and “Left” as referred to in the parts section, are as viewed from the operator’s seat, with the unit in forward driving
position.
ORDERS
Orders should plainly specify correct part number, full description, quantity required, machine model and engine model,
machine and engine serial numbers, except on stock orders where model and engine information is not required.
