• This manual covers the servicing of Case Dynaclonic Diesel and Supr-Torq and Powr Torq Spark Ignition Engine cylinder blocks.
• In addition to size, some differences are notice able between the engines. These individual differences are pointed out in the text when they are pertinent to the service operation.
• As an example, the Supr—Torq Engine has four camshaft bushings, while the Powr-Torq Engine has only three. Likewise the Dynaclonic Diesel Engine has five main bearings, while the spark ignition engines have only three.
• These differences are pointed out on Pages Ill-4 and M-5.
• Particular attention should be paidtothe Diesel lubrication chart on Page M-4. You will note the two types of rocker arm lubricating systems. For more complete information, refer to the Cylinder Head Section.
