Engine Lubrication:

• Fill the 6830 engine crankcase with CCISF, CDlSF. CEISF or CF-4 service classification oil. Use the correct viscosity rating lor the ambient air temperature. Install new oil tillers alter the engine is rebuIIL
• Fill the GT 830 and me STA 830 engine crankcase with CEISF or CH service classification oil. Use the correct viscosity rating for the ambient air temperature. Install new oil filters after the engine is rebuilt.

Run-In Procedure for Rebuilt Engine:

• Step 1 Disconnect the wire to the electric shut-otf on the injection pump so that the engine will not start. Crank the engine for 30
  seconds until there is oil pressure, then reconnect the wire.
• Step 2 Make sure the coolant level is correct
• Step 3 Run the engine at 1000 RPM minimum load for 5 minutes and check for oil leaks.
• Step 4 Continue to check the oil pressure. coolant level and coolant temperature durinc nrn.in.
