If you keep fuel in storage for a period of time. you can get foreign material or water in the fuel storage tank. Many engine problems are caused by water in the fuel, Keep the fuel storage tank outside and keep the fuel as cool as possible. Remove water from the storage container at regular periods of time. Fill the fuel tank at the end of the daily operating period to prevent condensation in the fuel tank.

1. Check the condition of the insulators for the engine mounts. If the insulators are damaged, install new insulators.
2. Use the OAS-1690 tool to rotate the flywheel and align the pins in the flywheel with the holes in the coupling on the drive shaft of the hydraulic pump. See Section 8002.
3. Tighten the bolts that held the engine maunting brackets to the frame to the torque specification.
4. Tighten the cap screws that hold the hydraulic pump to the flywheel housing to the torque specification shown on page 3. Loctite 262 must be applied on the threads in the holes in the flywheel housing.
5. Tighten the cap screws that hold the tan and the spacer to the engine to the torque.
6. Do the following procedure to bleed the air from the Cooling Time.
