• The mounting distance (A) from the mainshaft pinion bearing cage mounting face to the centre line of the differential is approximately 6.600 inch (167.64 mm). This cfistanoe may vary for each tractor. To help accurate installation of the pinion mainshait a single figure is stamped on the top face of the upper P.T.O. shaft boss as shown.
• The single figure indicates the variation from distance (A) in steps of 0.001 inch (0.025 mm). Where distance (A) is smaller, 3 minus (-) sign will be shown. Add or Subtract the single figure. (stamped on the upper P.T.O. shaft boss) to the approximate figure 6.600 inch (167.64 mm).
• For example if the figure 3 was stamped on the P.T.O. boss. this would be added to 6.600 (167.64 hm) giving distance (A) to be 6.603 inch (167.72 nm) and -3 would indicate distance (A) to be 5.597 inch (167.56 mm).
