1. Check the rotor, moistener spindle and doffer drive chains. A slack of 3/4 mob in the chains as checked on the longest span between sprockets should be allowed.
2. Check the oil level in the transmission.
3. Connect the oil hose to the tube on he drum rotor cover and see that all are are full of oil to start.
4. Connect the water lines to the moistencr assemblies and check to see that water runs freely through all of the pads.
5. Lubricate all bearing caps and cams.
6. Check the location of the spindle to slat bars.
