INTRODUCTION :

The W-5 Terralo~d*r 1-s an economlcal, rubber tired, front end loader designed for the small contractor., cement and · block factories, munlclpalities, coal and lumber yards,dock areas,warehouses foundries, factories and public utility companys where a small loader can be advantageously used because of space limitMfons or as a utillty machine. The rugged combinati011 of a Case Engine and Power- Rever slng Transmission with four speed ranges forward and four speed ranges reverse, provides a working speed adaptable to all of the above uses.
Case Engine :
The Case W-5 Terraload’r is powered by a four cylinder spark ignition engine which features heavy duty, precision construction. Thls engine is noted for its quiet operating characteristics and economy of operation. Torque Converter The torque co,nverter provides smoothness of operation, ease of handling and eliminates gear shift guess work. Because torque is multiplied automatically, the engine power is fitted to the load more efficiently and only four range speeds are necessary for maximum performance, because thetorque’converter provldes an inflnite number of speed ratios in each range.
