GENERAL INFORMATION :

The following pages show decals that are installed on the machine. Part numbers for the decals are also shown. When decals are needed, check the parts catalog to be sure that the part numbers are correct. Decals are available separately or in a kit that includes all the decals for the machine.

1. Inspect all the decals on the machine. All the decals must be easy to read.
2. Replace any decal that is damaged or is not easy to read. Use enamel thinner to remove the old decal. Make sure that the surface is clean and dry before the new decal is installed.
3. Use standard procedure to prepare the machine
for painting.
a. Clean the area to be painted.
b. Use sandpaper to prepare the surface.
c. Cover all good decals. Remove all bad decals.
d. Cover all other surfaces that are not to be painted.
e. Paint the machine.
4. Install new decals as necessary
