through your Authorized case Dealer. This publication is recommended

incurring any obligation relating to such changes. - To insure prompt and efficient service, please furnish in all
correspondence or contacts the model and serlal numbers of the
loader. and any components, parts or equipment that are involved.
SAFETY PRIICAUTIONS:
DON’T TAKE CHANCES – Use this manual to thoroughly
familiarize yourself with your loader. The safety precaution
listed below are for your protection. BE 6.1-\FETY CONSCIOU!
1. SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Wearthepropersafetyequipment.Avoid
loose clothing. If you feel that additional safety equipment
is required, notify your foreman.
2. EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT: Always carry a fire extingusher and
first aid kit.
3. TERRAIN FiVt’lILIARITY: Get to know the local terrain thoroughly
and the location of underground cables, gas lines and water
mains.
4. SIGNALING: Know the hand signals, flags or signs to be used
on the job sites.
5. VISUAL CHECK-OUT: Visually check out your loader for
and broken, missing or malfunctioning parts.
6. OPER.’-\TOR’S AREA: Be sure the operator’sareaisfree of
ice or loose objects.
7. STARTING: Check that the parking brake is set and the transmission
is in neutral before starting the engine.
8. OPERA TING AREA: Clear the operating area of all unauthor
ized persons.
9. STEERING WHEEL: Ix> not use the steering wheel as a handhold
when getting on or off the loader.
10. PASSENGERS: Only the operator, and no passengers, should he
on the loader when it is running.
