Introduction:

The 380-W Walking Dragline is the first of a series of small mining machines which are designed
with ease of assembly and disassembly as one of the major features.

• This not only decreases erection time, but allows a machine to be readily di5assembled and moved to another location. All electrical connections which cross shipping sections are plug connected to eliminate field
  wiring requirements and to aid in disassembly.
• Refer to cable and connection tabulation drawing for a breakdown of all plug connected cables. This tabulation can be used for a check-off list or erection and disa-ssembly. (See mechanical for a breakdown of shipping section.)

380-W Starting Sequence and Shutdown
380-W STARTING SEQUENCE

1. Turn diesel control switch to “Idle” position (Opening fuel solenoids).
Note: “Emergency Stop” button must be in pulled up position.
2. Open main power breaker.
Start auxiliary diesel with push button (at auxiliary diesel). When started, close main power
breaker.
3. Air ccmpressor(s) will start automatically if switch in operators cab is in run position.
4. When air pressure is up main engine can be started (Manual air start at diesel).
5. When main diesel is up to speed, radiator fans
are started automatically and timer delays starting of brake fans.
6. After brake fans are on switch diesel control switch to “Run” position.
7. Control reset button can now be pushed to activate controls and release emergency
brakes.
Note: When reset is pushed, individual brake switches should be in “Set” position.
8. Release brake switches as needed for operation.
