Introduction:
- The purpose of this manual is to provide a matrix of maintenance
required for the DBT Longwall system. - Isolation procedures are provided, and must be observed to ensure safe
working conditions. - This manual does not cover set to work procedures or initial testing of the
longwall system.
Isolation Procedures:
- The electrical supply is isolated at the transformer station, and as such
isolation procedures are detailed in the Ampcontrol Transformer Station
manual. Shearer isolation procedures are found in the Eickhoff manual. - Hydraulic isolation to the longwall system is performed at the filter station,
or by powering down the services equipment pump station. The SES
procedures are found in the SES Pump Station and Filter station manuals
respectively.
