General Description:

The HPRlH Hydraulic Drill is a high perfonnance, high efficiency hydraulic percussion drill. The
HPRlH drill is designed for long life, minimum downtime and minimum operating cosL The drill has a
manual stroke adjustment to be able to adjust energy and frequency for different ground conditions
and bit sizes. We offer two consttuctions of the HPRlH drill to cover different applications.

HPR1H-AT:

This consttuction is used primarily with the SCH2500and SCH3500 Hydra Tracs’ with both 38mm and
45mm drill steel in hole sire ranges from 21,i” to 41h” diameter, dependent on the drillability of
the rock, and the hole depth. The maximum recommended differential pressure* is 2600 PSI.

HPR1H-ST:

• HPRlH-ST consttuction has an extra long hammer and has been specifically designed for 45mm drill
  steel. It is intended for applications where the blow energy of the HPRH-AT is not sufficient for
  efficient drilling of larger diameter deep holes in hard rock fonnations. This construction can be
  operated at differ­ ential pressures up to 3200 PSI. The limitation will be the energy transfer
  through the drill string, primar­ ily the first coupling, and depends largely on rock conditions
  and bit sire. The use of a collaring circuit with a maximum pressure setting of 1500 PSI is
  essential.
• At lower differential pressures (2000 to 2600 PSI) this construction has shown improved
  consumables life relative to HPRlH-AT in many applications. It also has been used successfully with 38mm steel
  in un­ derground long hole applications.
