Introduction:
The available instructions describe the assembly and disassembly of pump drive type 4349.
Observe the references on the assembly drawing A4349.
Stiebel-Getriebebau does not assume liability for third party assembly or disassembly of the pump
drive. All items and their positions are shown on the spare part drawing E4349.
Absolutely consider the safety regulations and the relevant rules for the prevention of accidents!
Consider for this the operating instructions for pump drives.
▪ Attach only original spare parts.
▪ Use suitable collection receptacles when draining oil.
▪ Mark before the separation bolted and toothed parts on their positions.
▪ Make sure that no dirt or foreign substance gets into the gearbox.
▪ Replace damaged parts, O-rings, seal rings and end caps by new parts.
▪ Warm up bearings and gear wheels before assembling only on hot plates or in the
furnace. Never warm up with direct flame. All fixing bolts must be secured with Loctite 573.
▪ Before the installation all movably parts and seal rings are to be oiled.
▪ Sometimes the coat of paint of the gearbox is damaged by dismantling and
re-assembling. Renew therefore the coat of paint in order to protect the gearbox from corrosion.
▪ Carry out a test run of the gearbox.
