The post harvest check is to enable an accurate picture of the machine’s condition after each harvest. This will highlight
possible failures which could be avoided. The reliability of the machine for the next harvest could also be increased, thus
reducing the risk of down-time.
This booklet is also required for hire-machines. At the end of the hire period, this booklet should be filled out and signed by
the customer and the dealer.
Components that have shown natural wear and tear should be graded by percentage of wear in the “Comments” section.
The machine should be cleaned inside and out. Apart from that the maintenance should be carried out as per the operator’s
manual. A combination of the prescribed maintenance work and the post harvest checks should be carried out.
