• The CLAAS Service Time Schedule is a valuable assistance to every CLAAS Dealer when it comes to calculating costs. They also enable to estimate costs for the more extensive repairs and to arrange a post season overhaul scheme for the CLAAS machines sold by the dealer. In order to carry out a service procedure in the specified time it is necessary to have a well equipped workshop and service vans, the complete CLAAS Special Tool Kit and well trained mechanics with experience in CLAAS products.
• • The service jobs for all individual components have been carried out and timed on completely assembled machines. Thus, all service times are to be understood as absolute gross values, i. e., the time required for removal of guards and for supporting or lifting the machine etc., and where necessary, the time for a 2nd fitter, is always included where such jobs have to be done.
• For lifting and supporting the machine only equippment like stands, hoists and jacks, as can be found in any workshop, has been used.
• The time required for preparatory work like cleaning the machine, collecting the tools and spare parts which may be necessary for the actual job to be carried out, are not taken into account.
• The list of timed service procedures has been arranged to cover structural components and individual components conforming to the spare part list illustrations. For easy reference name of the components are quoted.
