1.1.1 How to use this manual
The present fitting instructions shows you how to
install the components listed in the Shipping package
chapter.
In the Installation chapter, existing parts are marked by
letters and new parts by numbers to provide better
orientation.
Provided you follow the advice on care and servicing
of your product, you will be rewarded with reliable and
long service from your product.
Please have the regular inspections carried out by
your CLAAS specialist workshop. Omissions of parts
of the maintenance schedule or incorrect operation
lead to a drop in performance and cost valuable time.
By correct operation and servicing you can make full
use of our sound experience and of the latest technical
knowledge with which your product has been
designed, thus ensuring reliability of your product.

In order to avert danger, the instructions in this manual
must be read and heeded by all persons who carry out
or check this assembly.
In particular, read the “Safety Rules” sections in the
Operator’s Manual of the machine and of the front
attachment.
The use of spare parts, accessories and auxiliary
equipment that are not original CLAAS products and
have not specifically been tested and approved by
CLAAS, can change the specified design characteristics
of the CLAAS combine or detract from its
functional performance, with a possible adverse effect
on the active and/or passive operational safety and on
its occupational safety standards (accident
prevention).
CLAAS is in no way liable for any damage or personal
injury caused as a result of the use of other than original
or approved CLAAS parts, accessories and
auxiliary equipment.
