INTRODUCTION

This operator’s manual provides information concerning the use, setting and operation of the CLAAS rotary mower. Follow the advice on correct maintenance and servicing in order to ensure maximum performance and a long service life of your machine. Also ensure that the assembly of your machine and regular inspections are carried out by a specialist workshop. Failure to carry out maintenance work, or incorrect operation will result in poor machine efficiency and loss of valuable time. Make use of the experience and latest knowledge applied in this machine by operating and caring for it properly. Your mower unit will always produce good results

DESIGNATED USE 

• The CLAAS disc mower is exclusively built for normal use for agricultural work (correct use). The mower unit is suitable and intended for cutting crops growing from the ground in wild or seeded fields. Use in any other way is considered as contrary to the intended use.
• The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from such uses; the user is solely responsible for such risks. Designated use also includes observing the service, maintenance and repair conditions as prescribed by the manufacturer.
• The CLAAS mower unit may only be used, serviced and repaired by persons who are familiar with and trained in the dangers involved. Observe the applicable accident prevention regulations and other generally acknowledged regulations regarding safety and occupational health, as well as the regulations and standards relevant to motor vehicles and traffic. Modification of the machine without proper authority precludes any manufacturer’s liability for damage resulting from any such modifications
