INTRODUCTION

These instructions describe the safe and time-saving work procedure for fitting the DISCO 8700 C Plus / 8700 C to the JAGUAR. Read through these instructions carefully before commencing work! Pay particular attention to the section »General information«. The material supplied is listed on Page 4.1. Before commencing work, ensure that the conversion kit is complete. The “Material supplied” listing should also be considered as a supplement to the replacement parts list.

General information
OF SPECIAL IMPORTANCE

• To prevent accidents, these instructions must be read and observed by everyone who uses this machine/front attachment or deals with maintenance, servicing or inspection. Read and observe in particular the “Safety rules” chapter in your operator’s manual. Observe the applicable accident prevention regulations for your territory.
• Before starting work, establish that all tools and resources are present. Carry out a comparison between the machine/front attachment type present, the specification in the “Material supplied” section and the supplied set of parts. The specifications of the parts, e. g. for screws, can be taken from the “Material supplied” listing.
• Every fitted part is given an item number (Item No.) in this listing. Other details regarding the parts are the replacement part no., the quantity, the dimensions and the ISO/DIN number. For better orientation, the existing parts are identified with letters in the installation descriptions, and the new ones with numbers (item numbers). Text and pictures are kept neutral as far as possible.
• Text notes are used to draw attention to differences between the individual models. Technical specifications, dimensions and weights are understood with the usual tolerances.

IMPORTANT:

Front, rear, right and left are always understood as in the direction of travel.
