INTRODUCTION

These instructions show the conversion of the machine from grain threshing to rice threshing and vice-versa. Special feed and unloading augers are available for the machine when used for rice threshing. These instructions also illustrate the procedure for installing and removing these augers. The straw walkers can be fitted with special risers for optimal loosening of the straw. For more information, refer to the combine harvester operating instructions.

Check whether all the parts listed under «Shipping Package» have been delivered, for the available machine type / front attachment type. Please consult the «Shipping Package» for details of part specifications, for example for screws
• . Every part listed here has a Part Number. Parts such as nuts and contact washers do not have part numbers. These parts are listed under the part number for the screws with which they are fitted. To make the installation instructions clearer, existing parts are labelled with letters while new parts are labelled with numbers (part numbers).
• Text and pictures have, where possible, remained the same. Notes and comments will alert you to any differences between individual types. Technical data, dimensions and weights are given as an indication only.
• CLAAS reserve the right to make changes subsequently as technical developments continue. Responsibility for errors or omissions not accepted. The indicator boards «front, rear, right and left» are always in direction of travel (forwards).
