INTRODUCTION
This manual describes the safe and time-saving
method of attachment with the mounting kits part
no. 498 315.0 (down maize tips RU 600) and
part no. 498 318.0 (down maize tips RU 450).
Please read this manual thoroughly before starting
work! Pay particular attention to the »General instructions
« section.
The following machines and devices can be converted:
CLAAS maize headers:
RU 600 Contour
RU 600 Xtra
RU 450 Xtra
The shipping packages are listed in page 4.2. Before
starting work make sure that the mounting kit is complete.
The “Shipping package” list is also considered a supplement
to the spare parts list.
Dispose of old parts that are not required for the
assembly in an environmentally correct manner
