INTRODUCTION

• These instructions describe the safe and timesaving work sequence for conversion of the transition pan drive. Benefit of the transition pan drive:
• Due to the longer stroke of the transition pan, the harvested crop is conveyed better to the uni-spreader even when driving downhill and in wet harvest conditions.
• Also the sieve frame is relieved. Retrofitting of the LEXION 480 combine harvesters, with the conversion kit part no. 174 964.1, is possible from the following machine number ranges: starting from 46600862, starting from 46800011, starting from 54600011, and starting from 54800011.
• The standard mounting time is approx. 9 man hours. See page 4.1 for the shipping package. Observe the »Safety Rules« in the applicable operator’s manual.

• Additional part specifications are the part no., description, measurements, DIN and the quantity. In order to help with the assembly, existing components in the instructions are identified with letters, whereas new parts have been identified with a number (position number). Texts and pictures apply, in general, to all machine types covered by this book and the
• information given applies equally, except where reference is made to a particular model in captions to the pictures or in the main text.
