‘INTRODUCTION

This manual describes the safe and time-saving work procedure for installation of the mounting kit 496 139.0. Please read this manual thoroughly before starting work! Pay particular attention to the »General Information « section. The following machines can be modified:

CONSPEED 6R from serial no. 911 0 1394:
6-80 FC / F
6-75 FC / F
6-70 FC

The shipping package is listed on page 4.1. Before starting work make sure that the mounting kit is complete. The “Shipping package” list is also considered a supplement to the spare parts list. Dispose of old parts that are not required for the assembly in an environmentally correct manner.

3 General Information
OF SPECIAL IMPORTANCE

• The instructions set forth in this manual must be read carefully and followed by all persons concerned with the operation, maintenance, repair or inspection of this machine/front attachment in order to prevent accidents.
• Read and understand especially the »General Information« section and the chapter on »Safety« in your operator’s manual. Observe the pertinent accident prevention regulations of your country.
• Before starting work make sure that you have all the required tools and equipment.Make sure that the machine and attachment type, the description in the »Shipping package« section and the supplied parts set all match. See the »Shipping package« list for parts specifications, such as screws and bolts.Every part is given an item number (Item no.) in this list.Further details regarding these parts are the part no.,
• the quantity, the dimensions, the DIN and the use. In the assembly descriptions existing parts are labelled with letters and new parts with numbers (item numbers) for better orientation. Text and pictures are kept as neutral as possible. Text notes call attention to differences in the specific types.
• Technical specifications, dimensions and weights are understood with the usual tolerances. Forwards, backwards, right and left are always in the direction of travel.
