Foreword

• This Part 2 of the Operator’s Manual covers General Information and Maintenance. The book should be regarded as complementary of the Part 1 of the Operator’s Manual, covering Operation, Specifications, Lubrication and provides
• practical information concerning the efficient use of your CLAAS-High Density Baler. Carefully read this manual to obtain best resuits from your baler. Follow the various hints given in this booklet regarding the correct maintenance and operation
• of the machine. Neglect in maintenance or faulty adjustments of the machine will result in inefficiency and loss of valuable time. It is therefore recommended, that an authorized CLAAS-Dealer carries out the regular maintenance operations, to ensure that your CLAAS-High Density Baler will fuction for many years and always be ready for immediate use.

IMPORTANT

• The instructions contained in t-his manual should be carefully read and observed by all persons who are concerned with the operation, maintenance and inspection of this machine, in order to prevent accidents. Especially the SAFETY RULES and the group PRIOR TO OPERATION in this manual should be read with the utmost care and adhered to.
