This Operator’s Manual is the original Operator’s Manual. In the following texts, it is only referred to as the Operator’s Manual. This Operator’s Manual is part of the machine. Bear in mind that in the chapters below, the CLAAS harvester is also referred to as the machine. Have maintenance of the front attachment and the regular inspections carried out by a CLAAS sales partner. Omissions of parts of the maintenance schedule or incorrect operation lead to a drop in performance and cost valuable time

2.1.1 Particularly important

• In the chapters below, the CLAAS drum mower is also referred to as the machine or just the mower unit. The instructions contained in this Operator’s Manual must be read and observed by all persons concerned with the operation, maintenance and inspection of this machine in order to prevent hazards. Read in particular the sections “Safety“, “Preparing the
• machine“ and “Operation“ in the Operator’s Manual of the machine. The use of spare parts, accessories and ancillary equipment not originally manufactured by CLAAS and not checked and approved by CLAAS can change the specified design characteristics of the CLAAS machine or can detract from its functional performance, with a possible adverse effect on the
• active and/or passive operational safety of the machine and its occupational safety standards (accident prevention). CLAAS will assume no liability whatsoever for damage occurred as a result from the use of nongenuine parts, accessories and ancillary equipment
