1.3 Safety rules
1.3.1 Fitting and conversion work

The work described in this manual may be carried out only by a qualified specialist workshop with trained skilled staff.

Prior to fitting or converting:

► Read and follow safety instructions in all Operator’s Manuals: Operator’s Manual of the machine or product intended for fitting or installation Operator’s Manual of the product to be fitted or installed

► Observe the safety decals applied to the machine and the product.

► Observe general safety instructions, accident prevention rules and environmental protection regulations.

► Stop and secure the machine and the product. Page 11

► Carry out work beneath the raised machine, beneath raised implements or raised components only if these units are securely supported.

► Lower down the machine, front attachment and hydraulically actuated components prior to any work on the hydraulic system. Depressurize the system.

► Relieve the pressure of pre-stressed energy accumulators (springs, accumulators, hydraulic cylinders) and of components pressurized by energy accumulators. After fitting or converting:

► Clean any soiled safety decals. Replace any unidentifiable or missing safety decals

. ► Refit any removed protective guards and other components and set them to their protective position before putting into operation again.

► Check if all bolts are tightly seated.
