1.0 Load indicator operation

The load indicator displays, with a series of lights in the cab, the amount of loading on the telescopic arm, by the amount of load detracted from the rear axle. A single green light shows that the load indicator is functional. The first of ten LEDs is illuminated when the machine is loaded to about 45%, subsequent LEDs stand for approx. an increase of 6.5%. At 100% all the LEDs flash and a warning buzzer is sounded. Should the top red LED be illuminated, then the machine is loaded by 110% or greater. The load indicator monitors the reaction on a load cell mounted on the rear axle. The load cell’s resistance changes with compressional or tensile loads.
