Introduction

This manual describes the procedure to be followed for equipping the Rollant 250 / 254 / 255 and Rollant 255 Uniwrap balers with the central roller lubrication system. Carefully follow the  Safety Rules  described in the operator’s manual

Safety regulations
Important

• To prevent accidents, these instructions must be read by everyone who uses the machine/ attachment and who deals with maintenance, servicing or inspection.
• It is advisable to pay particular attention to the section headed “Safety precautions” in your operator’s manual as well as to comply with the regulations for the prevention of accidents that are in force in your country Before starting work, make sure that all the necessary tools and attachments are ready for use.
• Compare the type of machine/attachment on hand, the list which appears in the section headed “Scope of parts” and the ready-to-assemble parts supplied. Specification of the parts, for example the screws, appears in the list headed “Scope of parts”. In this list each assembly component is identified by an item number (item no.) Parts such as nuts and contact washers are not identified by an item number.
• These components form part of the item number of the screw with which they must be assembled. Other instructions stated on these components are the spare part number, the description, the dimensions, DIN and the quantity supplied. In the assembly instructions, the available parts are identified by letters and new parts by numbers (item numbers) to act as a better guide.
• Texts and pictures have been kept neutral whenever possible. Text references point out the differences between the individual types. Technical data, dimensions and weights are given as an indication only.We reserve the right to errors and technical changes as part of ongoing technological developments. The terms front, rear, right and left always refer to the machine as seen in the direction of forward travel.
