These instructions describe the procedure to follow to fitting Rollant 255 RotoCut Uniwrap wrapping balers with bale twister. Carefully follow the “Safety Instructions” described in the operator’s manual

Safety Rules
Important

• To prevent accidents, this manual must be read by everyone who uses the baler and who deals with maintenance, servicing or inspection.
• It is advisable to pay particular attention to the chapter headed “Safety precautions” in your operator’s manual as well as to comply with the regulations for the prevention of accidents that are in force in your country. Before starting work, make sure that all the necessary tools and attachments are ready for use.
• Make a comparison between the type of machine/attachment on hand, the list which appears in the section headed “Scope of parts” and the ready-to-assemble parts supplied. Specification of the parts, for example the screws, appears in the list headed “Scope of parts”.
• In this list, each assembly component is identified by an item number (item no.). Parts such as nuts and contact washers are not identified by an item number.
• These components form part of the item number of the screw with which they must be assembled. Other directions stated on these components are spare part number, description, dimensions, DIN and quantity supplied. In the assembly instructions, the parts on hand are identified by letters and new parts by numerals (item numbers) for the purpose of improving orientation. The texts and diagrams are neutral as far as possible.
• Annotations in the text draw attention to differences between the various types. No liability is accepted for supplying the instructions relating to technical features, dimensions and weights.
• They are subject to errors and technical changes as part of ongoing technological developments. The terms forward, behind, right and left are always understood as facing the direction of the machine.
