1.1.1 General instructions

• This Operator’s Manual is the original Operator’s Manual. It will be referred to merely as the Operator’s Manual below. This Operator’s Manual is part of the machine.
• It must be stored at a suitable place and be accessible for driving and operating personnel at any time. All users of this machine must have read and understood this Operator’s Manual before operating the machine. Please bear in mind that the CLAAS harvesting machine will also be referred to as machine in the chapters below.
• Have the front attachment maintenance and regular inspections carried out by a qualified specialist workshop as well, e.g. a CLAAS Service Partner. Failure to perform maintenance or incorrect operation lead to a reduction in performance and a loss of time.

• The information provided in this Operator’s Manual must be read and observed by all persons concerned with the operation, maintenance and inspection of this machine in order to avoid hazards. • The use of spare parts, accessories and ancillary equipment not originally manufactured by CLAAS and not checked and approved by CLAAS can change the specified design characteristics of the CLAAS machine or can detract from its functional
