INTRODUCTION

• This manual describes the safe and timesaving work procedure to follow for installing the mechanically slewing windrowing rubber according to mounting kit order no. 0975 168.0. Carefully read and understand these instructions before starting work! Observe especially section »General instructions«.
• The following machines can be retrofitted:

  VOLTO 770
  VOLTO 770 T
• The »Package list« is listed on page 5.1. Before starting work make sure that the installation kit is complete. The »Package list« can also be used as a supplement to the spare parts list.

3 General instructions
OF SPECIAL IMPORTANCE

• The instructions set forth in this manual must be read carefully and followed by all persons concerned with the operation, maintenance, repair or inspection of this machine in order to prevent accidents. Read and understand especially section »General instructions« in your operator’s manual and observe the pertinent accident prevention regulations of your
• country. Before starting work make sure whether all necessary tools and devices are at hand. Make a comparison between the present type of machine/implement, the list in the »Package list« section and the delivered kit. For the specification of parts, e.g. screws, see list »Package list«. In this list every mounting part has got an item number. Further details regarding
• these parts are the spare part no., quantity, dimension, DIN and application. As a guideline, the existent parts in the installation instructions are marked with letters, while new parts are marked with numbers (item numbers). Texts and figures are formulated neutrally, as far as possible. The differences between the models are pointed out by notes in the text.
• Technical specifications, dimensions and weights are understood with the usual tolerances. Front, rear, right and left refer to the direction of travel.
