Safety precautions
It is recommended that works are carried out only by
specialist workshops authorised by CLAAS and
having qualified personnel.
Observe the general safety, accident prevention and
environmental regulations.
Read and observe the Safety chapter in the
Operator’s manual.
Carry out work under the jacked-up/raised machine/
front attachment or under raised components only if
a safe support is provided.
Lower hydraulically actuated components down to
the ground before working on the hydraulic system.
Relieve the system pressure.
Carry out work on the machine only with the drive
disengaged and the engine stopped! Remove the
ignition key.
Relieve the pressure of pre-loaded accumulators
(springs, pressure accumulators, hydraulic cylinders)
or components loaded/pressurised by accumulators
properly prior to installation work.
After installation check if all bolts are tightly
seated.Carry out a function test.
