This manual describes the procedure to follow to modify the following balers:
– VARIANT 350
– VARIANT 370
– VARIANT 360 and 365
– VARIANT 380 and 385

2.1 Important
2.1.1 General points

• To prevent accidents, these instructions must be read by everyone who uses the machine and who deals with maintenance, servicing or inspection. In particular, read the “For your safety” section in the operator’s manual with the utmost care.
• and observe the accident prevention regulations applicable in the country of use. Before starting work, establish that all tools and equipment are to hand. Compare the machine type (or existing accessories) with the list in the “Parts kit” section and the spare parts kit provided. In the assembly instructions, the existing parts are marked with letters and the new parts with numbers (position numbers) for easier orientation. Texts and pictures have been kept neutral whenever possible. Text references point out the differences between the individual types.
• Technical data, dimensions and weights are given as an indication only. Following CLAAS’s policy to improve its products as technical developments continue, CLAAS reserves the right to make alterations. Responsibility for errors or omissions not accepted. Front, rear, right-hand and left-hand always refer to the machine as seen in the direction of forward travel
