Safety precautions

• Work may be carried out only by specialist workshops authorised by CLAAS and having qualified personnel. Observe the general safety, accident prevention and environmental regulations.
• Read and observe the Safety chapter in the Operator’s manual. Carry out work under the jacked-up/raised machine/ front attachment or under raised components only if a safe support is provided.
• Lower hydraulically actuated components down to the ground before working on the hydraulic system. Relieve the system pressure.
• Carry out work on the machine only with the drive disengaged and the engine stopped! Remove the ignition key. Relieve the pressure of pre-loaded accumulators (springs, pressure accumulators, hydraulic cylinders) or components loaded/pressurised by accumulators properly prior to installation work.
• After installation check if all bolts are tightly seated.Carry out a function test.
