The manual deals with disassemЫing procedures inc!udiпg the use of lifts. We recommend using this instrument to
improove your operating capacity. .
lf using а jack or а hydrau!ic jack, make sure the wheels have Ьееп locked and place the vehicle оп specific supports.
DISASSEMBLING:
Before any disassemЫing, disconnect the battery negative pole
Use specific Daihatsu tools only.
Use specific Daihatsu spare parts only.
Check carefully if the disassemЫed parts show signs of wearing or damaging.
When disassemЫing complex parts, help yourself with identification marks and part position schemes.
Divide the disassemЫed parts into two distinct groCJps: one for parts to Ье reassemЫed and the other one for parts
to Ье replaced.
Clean carefully every part t~ Ье reassemЫed.
REASSEMBLING:
а) Use a!ways new spare parts
Ь) Check carefulJy the parts to Ье reassemЫed with the recommended specific tools.
с) Respect the recommended tightening torques. Use dinamometric wrenches revised periodical!y.
d) Use always new gaskets and piston rings.
