FOREWORD:
- This service manual describes the newly-developed Model M200 series. The entire portion, which is Chassis section for the Model M200 series, is divided into 19 sections in this manual.
- Each section has an index along with a table of contents in the beginning. For the check and repair procedures of the engine, refer to the service manual for the relevant engine type (Type K3 Engine manual and Type EJ Engine manual).
- All information used in this service manual was in effect at the time when the manual was printed.
- However, the specifications and procedures may be revised owing to continuing improvements in the design without advance notice and without incurring any obligation to us.
INSTALLATION:
Be sure to read “IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE”, page AB-2 -3, before handling the airbag components and observe every notice during work.
1. Turn OFF the ignition switch and detach the negative (-) terminal of the battery cable. Then wait for at least 60 sec- onds.
2. Install the seat belt pretensioner.
3. Connect the connector.
4. Install the center pillar garnish and the scuff plate.
Be sure to read “IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE”, page AB-2 -3, before handling the airbag components and observe every notice during work.
