This supplementary use and maintenance Booklet is an updating of the Use and Maintenance manual of the crane F600. .. supplied with the XP device.

CONTROLS TO OPERATE THE CRANE:

First read the instructions given in the User’s Manual supplied by the Manufacturer before using the remote control to avoid improper use. When using the remote control to move the crane. the manual control levers (distributor and double control on the ground or cabin distributor, depending on the version of the crane) need to be blocked to avoid the possibility of these being accidentally used other than via the remote control. These con- trols are blocked by special guards which are fitted to the controls by hinges and must be closed before you can use the remote control. Microswitches check that these guards have in fact been closed. When the selector switch on the Manual-Radio panel is turned to Radio, it enables the remote control (crane active) when these guards are closed: otherwise it stops all movement (crane not active) for as long as the guards remain open.
