• Repeat the operation a few times (2 or 3) until the required go0 angle is obtained.
• Alternatively: if a S.P.S. Sensor 1 wrench, type 125 FLT – B or similar, is available, this may be used with the following parameters: after approaching the nuts according to the sequence of Fig. 6,
• with a pre-load of 60 Nm, apply a minimum torque of 74 Nm with a min. angle of 38° – max. torque 104 Nm, max. angle 131 °. – Use boring bar AS 4736 coloured with Prussian blue to check main bearing alignment (Fig. 8).
• – Make sure that the boring bar rests evenly on all the bearing housings. Check the contact points revealed by the Prussian blue (Fig. 9).
