Vehicle identification:

These operating instructions are intended only for the truck crane whose serial number is specified on the front cover.

The following plates and numbers have been fitted to the truck crane for
identification:
1 the chassis number on the front right-hand side behind the first axle line,
2 the model plate on the passenger seat console containing the chassis number and designation of the crane model,
3 the name plate at the front of the crane operator’s cab containing serial number and designation of the crane model,
4 the CE mark on the name plate.
The location of ID numbers for removable rigging parts (e.g. counterweights, lattice extension, auxiliary hoist} is specified in the corresponding chapters.

Operating Instructions:

  • You will find the necessary information for operating the truck crane
    within these operating instructions.
  • Chapter 2 contains the Basic safety instrnctions. Please read and observe
    these instructions, even if you are familiar with the safety manual.
  • The Basic safety instructions are only found in this chapter. Special safety
    instructions that relate to specific hazards are described in the section
    containing the operation associated with the respective hazard.
  • Chapter 3 contains Information for applications engineering. It is intended
    primarily for the truck crane operator and those responsible for
    applications engineering.

This chapter contains
– the required qualifications of those involved in applications engineering,
– special safety instructions,
– information that is relevant to applications engineering.

  • Chapters 4 to 6 contain information required for Driving the truck crane:
    A description of all structural and operational components, clearly defined
    check lists for rigging modes and work and the operating instructions for
    road and off-road driving.
  • Chapters 7 to 9 contain information required for Operating the crane section,
    i.e. work with the truck crane: a description of all components and control
    elements, information about operating the crane engine as well as the
    crane itself.
  • Chapter 10 deals with the rigging of the truck crane. You will find separate
    sections on Choosing an appropriate site, rigging of support and counterweight,
    as well as Rigging work on the main boom.
  • Chapter 11 contains information required to operate the two-stage swingaway
    lattice extension, the boom extension and the heavy load lattice
    extension.
