Foreword:

• This list of spare parts is intended to help you care for, maintain, and repair your truck
  crane.
• With this list of products you will be able to see how your crane is put together, identify
  the different parts, and order spare parts with the help of the spare parts lists
  accompanying each illustration.

This also applies to accessories and tools.
– Make sure that your list of spare parts is always up-to-date and complete, and keep
it carefully so that it does not become illegible.
– If you make notes in the list, make sure that you can still read the original
information.
– Never lend pages to other people – photocopy them instead.

• In this way you can avoid sending out incorrect orders and having to check points with
  us – both of which cost time and money. Above all, you will avoid stoppages and
  damage to your crane caused by fitting the wrong parts.
• This list of spare parts applies exclusively to Truck Cranes GMK 5160 with serial
  number from 5160 8150.

How to use this list:

This list contains Illustrations with accompanying lists of spare parts (called
“ETL”).
The illustrations show the assembly groups or functional groups of the truck crane.
In the illustrations there are reference numbers pointing to parts which can be
replaced, connection pieces and fixing hardware.
In some illustrations where there are no such numbers you will be referred to another
illustration.
Please note:
– individual parts are not always drawn to the same scale;
– the parts will not always look exactly like the illustrations:
– pipes, hoses and cables will not always run as shown in the illustrations.
In the list of spare parts the truck crane is divided into the following product groups:
– carrier
– superstructure
additional equipment

• These product groups are subdivided into assembly groups; the assembly groups
  themselves are subdivided into groups. The numbers of the subassembly groups and
  subgroups are three-figure numbers.
• The number of the assembly group and groups is at the bottom of the spare parts
  llist on the right-hand side and is written in bold type. Two columns to the left of this
  number you will find the seven-figure spare parts list number with the suffix “ETL”
  and possibly also an additional letter indicating that this list has been updated (e.g.
  “A”).
• The number between these two numbers is the page number of the spare parts list.
  In each spare parts list on the right of the reference number you will also find the part
  No. of the particular part or group. This part No. identifies the individual part or group
  unambiguously.
• If the part No. is followed by the suffix “ETL” this means that there is a separate
  illustration with its own spare parts list in the list for that particular group.
  If the reference number contains a full stop followed by further numbers this means
  that the part belongs to the assembly group referred to by the number in front of the
  full stop (e.g. reference number “017.03” designates a part “03” belonging to assembly
  group “017”).
• We have usually only shown individual parts of assembly groups if they can be repaired
  without special tools or specialist knowledge. It is still worth considering replacing the
  whole assembly group, however, and letting us repair the one which is causing
  problems.

How to order spare parts:

If you want to order spare parts please proceed as follows:
– Read the notes on how to use the list of spare parts.
– In the index you will find the assembly group you will find the group you are
looking for with group No. and spare parts list No.
– First find the section in the list of spare parts referring to the relevant main assembly
group, then turn to the relevant subassembly group, to the subgroup and finally to
the reqired spare parts list.
– Find the part in question in the illustration. With the aid of the reference number
you can then find the spare part in the spare parts list.
Parts in the illustration without reference No. are no spare parts.
Parts with reference No. but withoutpart No. (e.g. parts out of set of seals)
can not be delivered separatly.
– If the reference number is followed by the suffix “ETL” you are referred to a
separate spare parts list for this particular part.
To avoid incorrect deliveries we ask you to specify the following in your order:
– model and seial No. of your truck crane
– spare parts list No.
– reference No.
– part No.
– description
– quantity required
– how the parts should be sent (e.g. by post, freight, fast freight, express, air freight,
courier)- exact forwarding address
