3.1 Safety instructions
3.1.1 Proper use
When scheduling applications, please remember that the GMK 6200-1
truck crane may only be used for applications that do not violate any laws,
regulations or the Proper use of the unit as specified by the manufacturer.
Please refer to the section titled Proper use, p. 2-2.
3.1.2 Organizational measures
The manufacturer of your truck crane has no direct influence on the way you use, operate or maintain the crane. You are therefore responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the crane and the fulfillment of all laws and regulations.

Ensure that the operating instructions are supplemented with any instructions required for special operational features, such as
– organization,
– work procedures or
– personnel,
– compulsory supervision and registration.

  • When using oils, lubricants and other chemical substances, ensure that the safety regulations that apply to the respective product are strictly observed. Ensure that process materials and replaced parts are disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
  • Monitor the work of the employees – at least occasionally – and ensure that they are working in accordance with the operating instructions in a responsible, conscientious manner and are aware of the related operational hazards.
