The GMK 6400 is a state-of-the-art truck crane, designed in accordance with approved safety
regulations. Nevertheless, the operator or third parties can still be endangered and the crane or
other property put at risk while using it.

• In addition to the following specifications, also follow the specifications about proper use given
  in the GMK 6400 operating instructions.
• The GMK 6400 may only be operated with parts of equipment which are permitted by Manitowoc Crane
  Group Germany GmbH and which are labelled with the serial number of the GMK 6400.
• Observe the inspection and maintenance requirements for the lattice exten- ording to the
  Maintenance chapter.
