1. FOREWORD

This SERVICEMAN HANDBOOK compiles the data the UH Series as categorized by each model. It is mainly composed of the specifications of main equipment, its performance and measured performance data, as well as the standards and other items necessary for the field services. As to the method of performance measurement and other details, refer to the Service Manual.

2. MANAGEMENT OF HANDBOOK
2- 1 How to handle
This handbook must be handled as “Restricted Access” and it must be particularly careful not to lend or hand over this handbook to the outsiders without thought.
2-2 Person-in-charge of management
(1) In the managemant section of this handbook, a full-time person-in-charge of management must be appointed to enable this manual to be used and managed properly at all times.
(2) In case the existing person-in-charge relieves other person, it must be informed
of the Overseas and Administration Department of Hitachi as soon as
practicable.
(3) The management No. of this handbook has already been registered in the
management master file of the Overseas and Administration Department.
2-3 Revision & Addition
When the contents of this serviceman handbook are subjected to alteration,
revision or addition is made and every time of the revision or addition,it isnotified.
So, maintenace should be performed at first hand according to therevised and/or
added instructions.
2-4 Others
When there is any request regarding the contents of this serviceman handbook
or if error(s) should be found in the contents, please inform as immediately.
