2. This Parts Catalogue applies to the engines whose serial numbers are 15712 and up.

3. When ordering parts, give the Hitachi dealer or distributor the following information:

(1) Part number (or assembly number) and part name.

(2) Quantity required

(3) Model and serial number NOTE: In case where the ordered parts happen to be out of stock, substitute parts (interchangeable with those ordered) will be supplied.

4. Indication of assembled bolts with washer Of the standard bolts, those with washers are identified by the symbol “B/W” in the Description column of each list. (Part Name: BOLT,W/WASHER) For the part numbers of the bolts and washers and those of bolts with washers, refer to the listing (beginning with the page D1) at the end of this parts catalogue. These bolts and washers should be ordered individually.

Indication of combination for replace ability -” G The new part to be used in combination with the other part in place of an old part is Indented by the symbol “G” in the interchangeability code column of each list.
