SERVICE RULES:
β’ Use genuine HONDA or HONDA-recommended parts and lubricants or their equivalents. Parts that do not meet HONDA’s
design specifications may damage the motorcycle.
β’ Use the special tools designed for this product.
β’ lnstall new gaskets, 0-rings, cotter pins, lock plates, etc. when reassemΠ«ing.
β’ When torquing Π° series of bolts or nuts, begin with the larger-diameter ΠΎΠ³ inner bolts first, and tighten to the specified
torque diagonally, unless Π° particular sequence is specified.
⒠Clean parts in non-flammaЫe ог high flash point solvent upon disassemЬly. Lubricate any sliding surfaces before reassemЬly.
⒠After reassemЬly, check all parts for proper installation and operation.
⒠Use only metric tools when servicing this motorcycle. Metric bolts, nuts, and screws агС not interchangeaЬle with English
fasteners. The use of incorrect tools and fΡ,teneΠ³s may damage the motorcycle.
β’ Route all electrical wires as shown on pages 1-9 through 1-1 2, Π‘Π°Π«Π΅ and Harness Routing, and away from sharp edges
and areas where they might Π¬Π΅ pinched between moving parts.
