1.1 Single‐stage four‐element hydraulic torque converter
1.1.1 Composition of the hydraulic torque converter
The hydraulic torque converter of ZL50 is in a single‐stage four‐element (double turbine) structure. It is mounted between the diesel oil engine and the transmission and composed of the following parts: Among all parts, the four elements ‐ pump gear 29, first‐stage turbine 23, second‐stage turbine 22, and leading wheel 25, are the four working wheels of the torque converter. In each working wheel, there are evenly arranged blades. These blades create interconnected runner systems and form a “closed” circular space in which the liquids circulate and flow.
1.1.2 Disassembly of the torque converter
After the torque converter assembly is removed from the loader, clean it with gasoline or metal cleaner, and then rest it on the working platform horizontally.
