INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORDERING SPARE PARTS:

• To avoid delay through inaccurate interpretation, it is of great importance that the information detailed in the following paragraphs be strictly adhered to when placing orders.

CAR TYPE:

• Always quote the engine and chassis numbers except when Stock Orders are placed, in which case the Year and Model must be indicated.
• If Gearbox components are required it is necessary to quote on the order the serial number of the Gearbox, together with any prefix or suffix letters which may be indicated.
• An order for spares in connection with an Automatic Transmission Unit must be accompanied by the Transmission Serial Number. If it is desired to replace the Converter Assembly, however, the order for this Component must bear the Serial number of the Converter which will be found stamped on the engine side of the Flywheel, adjacent to the Starter Ring Gear.
• Orders for parts affecting Overdrive Unit should be clearly marked with the Serial Number of the Unit for which the parts are required.

The Serial numbers are stamped on a brass plate which is fitted to the right-hand Wing-Valance and also on the Units referred to above.

• When ordering, the most complete information should be given to enable us to deal with your requirements expeditiously and to minimize delay in the dispatch of the goods. Therefore we strongly recommend that the following procedure be adopted :-
